The InterContinental Hotels Group at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1,600 rooms, the cluster boasts a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware (e.g., computers, printers, routers) and software systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, software licenses, and user access permissions.
• Support the implementation of IT projects and system upgrades in coordination with the IT leaders.
• Continuously seek improvements in processes and performance, taking ownership of results and remaining resilient in the face of challenges.
• Promptly report technical issues to management, with the recommendations to solve them.
• Stay informed on departmental and hotel-related developments, by approach to ongoing learning.
• Understand the hotel’s business priorities, products, services, and how the IT function contributes to operational success.
• Share innovative ideas and best practices with the team.
• Understand the impact of your role on guest satisfaction, colleagues’ engagement, departmental outcomes and hotel operations.
• Comply with, and actively enforce, the InterContinental Hotels Group’s Code of Conduct, hotel policies, and departmental procedures.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Good level of spoken/written English
• Minimum six months of experience in a similar environment (4-5* hotel)
