Role Overview:
Hi, I'm Segolene, Head of Commercial for Growth Sports. I'm seeking a proactive and strategic Commercial Manager - Growth Sports to drive Hawk-Eye’s expansion in sports where we already have a presence, including swimming, horse racing, and pickleball, as well as identifying opportunities in new sports.
This role will be pivotal in strengthening our existing partnerships while also developing business in sports where we do not currently operate. The successful candidate will identify growth opportunities, respond to inbound queries, develop business proposals, engage with potential clients, and create cost structures and pricing strategies.
This position requires strong commercial acumen, excellent client management skills, and the ability to collaborate efficiently across the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth
- Identify and assess market opportunities in both emerging and existing sports, building a roadmap for strategic growth.
- Research and analyze industry trends, potential clients, and competitors across target sports.
- Develop and present business proposals, including commercial bids and responses to RFPs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including federations, leagues, and broadcasters.
- Respond to inbound business development queries and explore potential opportunities.
- Proactively engage with prospective clients to promote Hawk-Eye’s solutions and capabilities.
- Build long-term relationships with sports governing bodies, event organizers, and commercial partners.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of contracts and client deliverables.
- Develop cost sheets, pricing models, and financial forecasts for new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the legal team to draft and negotiate contracts.
- Track and manage contract timelines, renewals, and new agreements.
- Monitor revenue performance and contribute to financial reporting and forecasting.
- Work closely with other Commercial Managers across different sports to align business development strategies.
- Develop efficient processes for proposal creation, contract management, and revenue tracking.
- Ensure a seamless transition from commercial discussions to operational execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, sales, or commercial strategy within the sports industry.
- Strong knowledge of sports technology and the competitive landscape of both emerging and existing sports.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing client relationships.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills to build cost structures and pricing models.
- Ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts with support from the legal team.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to identify long-term growth opportunities and execute plans effectively.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding of market trends, financial models, and business drivers.
- Client-Focused: Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple projects, contracts, and financial details efficiently.
