About the Role:
As the Commercial Planning & Controlling Manager for the UAE and Kuwait, you’ll lead the financial planning cycle—budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring all Group deadlines are met. You’ll oversee market data accuracy, guarantee robust financial reporting, and collaborate across departments for smooth monthly closings and insightful variance analysis. Your expertise will validate budget assumptions and drive data quality, ensuring that our reporting meets Group standards. Join us to play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and elevate financial performance across our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Are you ready to partner with the Region CFO and Country Managers to provide key financial insights that support mid- and long-term strategic goals? You will collect and validate financial data from cross-functional departments, including sales, trade marketing, and supply chain. You will oversee the timely and accurate preparation of the annual budget in line with Group requirements and supervise forecasting simulations to evaluate business performance, ensuring accuracy. Regular forecasting reviews will be conducted to align financials with business objectives.
Managing monthly and year-end closing processes, you will analyse variances related to products, margins, and channels. Monitoring and controlling customer and channel-level performance ensures accuracy in customer P&L reporting. You will oversee accrual processes, particularly trade spend-related provisions, maintaining cost accuracy while driving automation and simplification of reporting tools and dashboards.
You will lead accounts receivables, ensuring monthly accurate collections and maintain DSO targets by aligning collection strategies with commercial teams. Managing trade spend from end-to-end, you will ensure transparency and control, coordinating local financial projects aimed at process improvement and operational efficiency.
By managing, motivating, coaching, and developing your team, you will guarantee their professional development, proposing development initiatives that contribute to the definition of the function's organization. You will evaluate people, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development, and empowerment.
