Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee the construction of a warehouse and accommodation facility for a manufacturing setup in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in executing projects involving steel structure and concrete works, with full ownership of activities ranging from raw material planning to site-level performance tracking and reporting. The role requires coordination with consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end construction of warehouse and accommodation facilities, with a focus on both steel and concrete structure execution.
- Plan and control project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Take responsibility for raw material planning, procurement, and utilization, ensuring optimal consumption and minimal wastage.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, site investigations, and data analysis to guide project decision-making.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
- Review and validate drawings, BOQs, and design specs for compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, milestone tracking, and budget utilization updates.
- Monitor and enforce HSE standards on-site, ensuring safety compliance at all times.
- Lead site teams, including junior engineers and labor supervisors, and ensure smooth communication among departments.
- Certify contractor invoices, monitor change orders, and manage vendor contracts.
- Ensure proper handover and documentation upon project completion.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 1–2 years in the region.
- Proven experience in constructing steel structures and concrete-based warehouses and accommodation facilities.
- Strong understanding of site operations, raw material sourcing, and construction cost analysis.
- Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk, or MicroStation.
- Excellent knowledge of regional building codes, safety regulations, and construction documentation.
- Must possess a valid driving license.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project timelines.
