Allocation Assist Middle East is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Intensive Care to join a dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. As a Consultant Intensive Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and treatment to patients with life-threatening medical conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for critically ill patients. Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in developing and implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and making informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized medical care and treatment to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
  • Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Educate and support patients and their families on treatment plans and aftercare.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and adhere to documentation guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members and participate in educational activities for the team.
  • Keep up-to-date with current medical research and evidence-based practices to provide the best quality of care.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a recognized residency training program in critical care medicine.
  • Board certification or eligibility in critical care medicine.
  • Candidates must possess UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience in ICU.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in a culturally diverse and fast-paced environment.
