Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a leading oncology team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various types of cancer, using evidence-based protocols and a multidisciplinary approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with solid and hematologic malignancies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
  • Monitor treatment progress and adjust protocols based on clinical response and side effects
  • Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care teams
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Contribute to research, CME activities, and mentorship of junior staff

Qualifications & Experience

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology (e.g., American Board, FRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5–8 years of post-specialization experience in oncology
  • DHA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Dubai
  • Proven expertise in managing complex cancer cases across various organ systems
  • Familiarity with international oncology guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ESMO, ASCO)

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in clinical trials or translational oncology research
  • Strong communication and empathy skills for patient-centered care
  • Multilingual candidates (Arabic and English) preferred
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
