Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Diagnose and treat premature babies, infants with respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and other medical conditions
• Monitor and provide necessary medical interventions to stabilize critically ill newborns
• Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood tests
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
• Educate parents and families on the care of their newborns, including post-discharge instructions
• Keep accurate and updated medical records and document patient progress
• Continuously stay updated with the latest medical advancements and techniques in the field of NICU
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Specialist training in Neonatology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility
• Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adapt to different patient populations and cultural backgrounds
