Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant OBGYN to join our prestigious hospital in Dubai. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions in patients
• Conduct routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams
• Provide prenatal care to pregnant patients, including ultrasounds, monitoring fetal growth, and managing any complications
• Perform deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections, as needed
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and incorporate them into practice
• Act as a consultant to other healthcare professionals, providing guidance and expertise in the management of complex cases
• Engage in medical research and academic activities, including publishing papers and presenting at conferences
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and ensure adherence to best practices and standards of care
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, including residents and nurses
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Must be western-trained
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant OBGYN in a reputable hospital
• Strong clinical acumen and ability to diagnose and manage complex obstetric and gynecological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of research and publication in the field of obstetrics and gynecology
• Proficient in using technology and electronic medical records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
