Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and board-certified Consultant Pediatric Neurologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological disorders in children, with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care, family-centered communication, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly qualified and board-certified Consultant Pediatric Neurologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological disorders in children, with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care, family-centered communication, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, developmental delays, and neurogenetic syndromes
- Perform and interpret EEGs, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, geneticists, and rehabilitation teams for integrated care
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency neurological assessments
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate families on disease management, prognosis, and therapeutic options
- Contribute to academic teaching, CME programs, and research activities
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Pediatric Neurology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology or pediatric epilepsy preferred
- Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi)
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills
- Culturally sensitive and family-centered approach to care
- Tax-free salary: AED 75,000–90,000/month (commensurate with experience)
