About the Role:

WWT UAE currently has an opportunity available for a Pre-sales Consultant - BCDR to join our WWT international team and support our prestigious customers in the region.

Responsibilities

Solution Design:

Engage with customers to understand business requirements and technical challenges related to backup and disaster recovery.

Design and propose comprehensive BCDR solutions tailored to the customer’s needs, leveraging leading technologies and platforms.

Technical Pre-sales Support:

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for BCDR during pre-sales engagements, including presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) setups.
• Collaborate with account teams to position BCDR solutions as part of a broader value proposition for customers.

Customer Workshops and Engagements:

• Conduct technical workshops to educate customers on BCDR technologies, strategies, and best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through BCDR strategy development and solution evaluation.

Proposal Development:

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, including bills of materials (BoM), solution architectures, and cost estimates.
• Address technical queries and concerns raised during the proposal review process.
• Market and Technology Expertise:
• Stay up to date on the latest BCDR technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations to customers on aligning BCDR solutions with business goals and compliance needs.
• Collaboration and Relationship Building:
• Work closely with OEM partners to understand their offerings and incorporate them into customer proposals.
• Build strong relationships with customers, positioning WWT as their go-to partner for BCDR.
• Post-sales Handover:
• Ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales teams for implementation and support.
• Provide technical guidance to implementation teams during initial stages of deployment if required.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or solution consulting, with a focus on backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of BCDR platforms and technologies (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, Zerto).
• Familiarity with cloud backup and disaster recovery services across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven ability to engage customers at both technical and executive levels.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to customize solutions to meet specific customer needs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
