- Transaction Processing: Process day-to-day financial transactions and month-end entries within the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibit keen attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all internal control policies and procedures.
- Reconciliation Preparation: Prepare intercompany and bank reconciliations, as well as other Management Information System (MIS) schedules monthly.
- Audit Support: Provide support to statutory and internal auditors, ensuring that all requested documentation is accurate and readily available.
- ERP Environment Experience: Utilize experience in an ERP environment, preferably Business Central, to streamline accounting processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Pharma Industry Knowledge: Experience with a pharmaceutical company is a valuable addition, contributing to a deeper understanding of industry-specific financial practices.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (B.Com) or Master’s degree (M.Com) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 6-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in an ERP environment, with a focus on financial transaction processing and reconciliations.
- Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and prepare accurate reports for management review.
- Audit Familiarity: Experience working with auditors and understanding of audit processes.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage
