Job Summary

The Director of Project Finance oversees all project finance aspects for EDGE Acquisition’s contracts. The role is focused on optimizing project execution, improving cash flows, and managing project financial performance, ensuring alignment with EDGE Acquisition’s strategic objectives and IFRS accounting principles

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the project finance function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for projects.
• Ensure financial consistency and compliance across projects and provide in depth financial oversight.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team and business leaders to integrate project finance data into overall financial strategy.
• Engage with Operational stakeholders to provide project financial updates, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead collection team to ensure effective collection process and Cash flow optimization, including documentation quality continues improvements, disputed collection resolution and factoring initiatives
• Contribute to digitalization initiatives within the project finance department, focusing on automation and AI-enhanced reporting
• Ensure continuous and effective alignment between Project finance and Commercial Finance team in the transition of contracts after signature
• Ensure continuous and effective alignment between EDGE Acquisition and other EDGE entities and 3rd party suppliers
• Manage, coach, and mentor a high-performing project finance team.
  
  

Experience & Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or CFA) is highly preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in project finance, preferably in international defence or manufacturing companies.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles specific to long-term contracts.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Experience with financial digitalization and AI finance tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, problem solving and lead a team effectively.
