Job Description
Duty Engineer
- Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults or equipment failures promptly.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce risk of breakdowns.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, such as alarms or safety hazards, following protocols.
- Keep detailed records of equipment status, maintenance work, and incidents.
- Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment or systems as required.
Your experience and skills include:
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field)
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical safety, mechanical maintenance)
- Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engineering systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems
