Enterprise Integration Architect

Job Purpose

Provides technology expertise across the various streams in the infrastructure technology domain. Assists IT Operations in delivering the infrastructure vision and strategy that meet business needs. Delivers infrastructure design and contributes to the delivery of infrastructure projects and implementation of technologies. Understands industry best practices and monitors the market for emerging technologies.

Key Result Responsibilities

• In collaboration with project managers translates business needs into technical requirements and recommends cost effective solutions/alternatives in line with the architectural principles laid down for ISA.
• Assists in the evaluation of external vendors and products and provides input to business managers on business cases.
• Conducts market researches to keep up with, identify and implement best practices new trends and emerging technologies that bring best value to ISA clients partners with commercial and technology teams to explore ways and means to adopt such technologies.
• Provides technology expertise to meet organizational needs and contributes to the management of technology life cycle.
• Owns delivery and operation of technology and infrastructure projects and components for ISA clients. Manages testing and implementation of technical solution reviews technical documentation user guides, training manual and system specifications ensuring adequacy from a knowledge management perspective and they meet/ exceed clients’ expectations.
• Provides technical expertise to enable the suitable and latest application of operational procedures and working practices that are fit-for-purpose uses network management and application performance management tools to determine the effectiveness of the infrastructure.
• Assists the IT teams to ensure agreed service levels are met provides needed status reports to specialists users and managers.
• Provides necessary information and support to IT teams and clients as needed manages investigations and resolutions of complex incidents and problems as 3rd level support.
• Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.
• Analyzing security requirements and recommending improvements.
• Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
• Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
• Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.
• Configuring and supporting security tools, such as SIEM, firewalls and anti-virus software, WAF, Office 365, Load Balancer, Endpoint Security, DLP, Patch Management
• Liaise with SOC team for Incident Response and coordination of other actions.

• Co ordinates the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
• Assists in the identification and assessment of potential risks to technology infrastructure and their impact on the business assists in developing mitigation and backup plans.
• Leads and guides other technology experts both internally and externally demonstrates technologies and products to a variety of stakeholder business and IT Teams ensures there is proper enough and continuous knowledge sharing within ISA.
• Cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders including project managers, technology teams and business users.
• Participates and influences thinking and decision making with respect to technology to the best of ISA.
• Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
• ITIL Certified.
• CCNP/ CCIE/ MCSE/ RHEL Certification.
• CISSP, CCNA, Security+
• Fluent in English Language.
