Job Description

Environmental Consultant – Environmental Impact Assessment & Permitting Services (Dubai)

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant with a focus on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental permitting services and environmental planning design for a leading consulting engineering firm in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, environmental engineering, and project management, with a proven track record of delivering sustainable solutions in the UAE and broader Middle East region.

• Certifications such as Professional Charterships, LEED AP, Estidama PCRS PQP, Mostadam AP, or equivalent, as well as relevant registrations with the regulators is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of local environmental regulations (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, NCEC, etc.), and sustainability frameworks specific to the Middle East.
• Strong expertise in advising on water, energy, transportation, and/or planning projects.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary global team, providing environmental, sustainability and ESG advisory services to ensure project deliverables meet high environmental standards.
• Experience with and availability to undertake site surveys and site work, including data collection, environmental assessments, and compliance auditing.
• The following abilities will be of benefit:
• Experience in waste management strategies and services.
• Experience in hydrogeology and/or hydrogeology
• Experience in environmental modeling (air, noise, surface water or groundwater)
• Experience with sustainability certification systems (LEED, ESTIDAMA, MOSTADAM, CEEQUAL, Envision) on large-scale developments.

This role requires a proactive, solution-oriented individual capable of driving innovative environmental and sustainability strategies for high-impact projects. Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

• BSc (or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; MS is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on environmental planning, EIA and environmental permitting.
