Estimator - Asphalt and Roads

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah for an Estimator specializing in Asphalt and Roads. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, analyzing cost structures, and coordinating with engineering teams. Additional responsibilities include sourcing vendor quotes, identifying project risks, preparing tender documentation, and contributing to project planning and bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Prepare asphalt quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Estimate production, manpower, equipment, and material costs.
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Prepare commercial offers and pricing sheets.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and finance.
• Track tender results and maintain cost records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in asphalt estimation or road construction.
• Strong understanding of asphalt production and paving.
• Good MS Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs.
