Event Planning Specialist

The Events Planning Specialist works closely with Event Planners and plays an integral role in supporting the planning and execution of events. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the planning team by managing various event-related tasks under close supervision and guidance.

What you will do:

• Support Event Planners with the organization and coordination of events.
• Ensure event compliance with internal and external policies, including Franchise and Compliance Events strategy.
• Address country-specific requirements for each event.
• Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
• Participate in reviewing and improving processes, procedures, methods, and tools to ensure they meet current event planning needs.
• Monitor and help achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to events.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple functions, identifying and leveraging cross-functional opportunities.
• Ensure full compliance with SOX, FCPA, GDPR, and internal quality and compliance policies in all planning activities.
• Regularly communicate with the sales force and product managers regarding event reviews and requirements.
• Liaise with various departments (e.g., Business Units, Compliance, Finance) to resolve misalignments and ensure successful event coordination at local, European, and/or cross-divisional levels.
• Take responsibility for end-to-end coordination of assigned events.
• Use and support virtual event platforms required by the business.
• Complete all GRT (Grants Review Tool) processes related to TPECs and Educational Grant requests in accordance with current procedures.
  
  

What you need:

• College-level education; B.S. degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in event management
• Willingness and ability to work outside standard business hours to support event requirements
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Flexible and adaptable to meet evolving business needs for events
