EVP Head of Business Banking

An excellent opportunity for a Head of Business Banking is available, based in Dubai, with a global financial institution who have expanded internationally. The bank has a head office in Europe and branches including the United Arab Emirates.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Business Banking role is a pivotal leadership role and will oversee and drive the bank's business operations across Priority Banking, Corporate Banking, New to Business Banking, Financial Institutions and Branch Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all business segments, product functions and distribution channels.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of business leaders, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders regarding business operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Represent the CEO and the bank at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of all business units, recommending areas for improvement
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of business operations with financial goals.
• Drive the development and execution of strategic business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Drive portfolio growth through both new customer acquisition and deepening existing relationships and enhance cross sell for non-interest income growth.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, profitability, and market share.

The Head of Business Banking will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in business leadership and strategic planning within the banking and financial services sector. You will have strong analytical skills and expertise in operational management and business development and a strong knowledge of emerging trends in the banking industry.
