Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director for our Privileged Clients Group managing Corporate & Investment Banking portfolio in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role will drive strategic growth, oversee complex financial transactions, and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients in the region.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the bank's corporate and investment banking business in the UAE and broader Middle East region
• Motivate a team of senior bankers, ensuring high performance and professional development
• Oversee complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and structured finance deals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including major corporations, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals
• Collaborate with other business units to identify cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue
• Ensure compliance with local and international banking regulations and internal risk management policies
• Represent the bank at high-level industry events and forums
• Provide strategic advice to the board of directors on market trends, opportunities, and challenges in the corporate and investment banking sector
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, with a significant portion in senior leadership roles
• Proven track record of driving business growth and managing high-performing teams in the banking sector
• In-depth knowledge of corporate and investment banking products, services, and best practices
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, economic trends, and their impact on banking strategies
• Extensive experience in the Middle East financial markets, with a focus on the UAE
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and high-profile clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough understanding of UAE and regional financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
