Role Overview
The Offloading Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the safe, efficient, and timely offloading of cargo at company-owned warehouses and third-party logistics facilities. The role ensures adherence to KPIs, escalates delays according to the offloading matrix, and maintains clear communication with transporters, warehouses, and clients to drive quick resolution of bottlenecks.

Role Overview
The Offloading Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the safe, efficient, and timely offloading of cargo at company-owned warehouses and third-party logistics facilities. The role ensures adherence to KPIs, escalates delays according to the offloading matrix, and maintains clear communication with transporters, warehouses, and clients to drive quick resolution of bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cargo offloading progress at Reload warehouses and third-party facilities, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs.
- Verify truck arrival status by cross-checking transporter reports with warehouse gate logs and ground team updates.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, 3PL representatives, and ground agents to expedite the offloading process.
- Classify offloading performance as Within KPI, Exception, or Major Exception, and apply the appropriate escalation level.
- Escalate delays to Controllers, KAMs, and CSMs in line with escalation timelines, ensuring timely interventions.
- Issue formal notices to transporters or clients when delays are attributable to them (e.g., driver absence, vehicle breakdown, unpaid fees).
- Provide real-time feedback to transporters and reassure them regarding truck waiting times.
- Keep clients informed of prolonged delays, including detailed breakdowns of affected trucks and actions taken.
- Work with warehouse managers and senior leadership to implement solutions for recurring or prolonged issues.
- Ensure photo or video evidence and GPS tracking are collected for high-value cargo during delays.
- Maintain detailed records of truck status, communications, and escalation actions for audit and reporting purposes.
- Timely offloading of trucks at warehouses and 3PL facilities.
- Compliance with escalation timelines at each level (Within KPI, Exception, Major Exception, Non-Compliance).
- Reduction in truck standing time at offloading points.
- Accuracy of status tracking and reporting.
- Effective communication with clients, transporters, and warehouse teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and operational tracking systems.
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations is an advantage.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years’ experience in warehouse, transport, or logistics coordination roles.
- Prior experience in escalation or client-facing operations is advantageous.
