Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily factory operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of skilled workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials to support production needs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the factory.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documenting progress and any issues for management review.
- Proven experience as a Joinery Supervisor, Foreman, or Senior Joiner.
- In-depth knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, materials, and woodworking machinery, CNC.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills (for reporting, email communication, etc.).
- Relevant certification or diploma in carpentry/joinery is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in joinery or carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
