Job Description:
Financial reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financials, for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with IFRS and GAAP
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Prepare accurate regulatory filings within specified timelines
- Provide financial data for internal and external audits
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with departments and review departmental budgets and rack actual expenses against budget
Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain appropriate internal controls
- Review and analyze financial contracts, agreements, and pricing structures
Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization’s goals
- Assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Support business development initiatives by providing financial analysis and modeling
Other Responsibilities
- Assisting in filing VAT / local tax / corporate tax returns for all GCC and US entities
- Reviewing sales reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis to ensure sales is accurately recorded for internal as well as external reporting
- Reviewing banking records to ensure all the expenses and incomes are accurately recorded in the books of accounts
- Reviewing payment gateway reconciliations for all the payments gateway and reporting discrepancies in charges / amount remitted on a regular basis
- Verifying and approving all accounting vouchers to ensure all the entries are correctly posted in the system
- Preparing and posting fixed and variable payroll of group entities
- Verifying and approving all VISA expenses to ensure they are correctly recorded in the system
- Preparing all the details and regular co-ordination with the auditors to complete yearly audits
- Maintaining other such workings and trackers required in day-to- day accounting
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in a corporate setup in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero is an advantage
- Candidates with prior experience with Tech companies would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of GCC tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
