Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial operations, reporting, compliance, and business planning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with hands-on exposure to IFRS, Corporate Tax, and VAT — managing these directly rather than through external consultants. This role requires proven managerial experience, financial acumen, and the ability to provide advisory support to senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage and lead a team of qualified accountants, ensuring effective delegation, mentorship, and quality control.
• Handle Corporate Tax, VAT, and statutory compliance independently, without reliance on third-party service providers.
• Develop and manage the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend improvements to drive operational efficiency and cost control.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial stability.
• Lead audits and financial reviews, liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial advisory and insights to the Owner, CEO, and CFO for strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, risks, and returns to support sustainable business growth.
• Implement and strengthen financial controls, processes, and reporting systems across departments.
• Partner cross-functionally with multiple department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA) are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Must have direct hands-on experience managing IFRS reporting, Corporate Tax, and VAT filings internally (not through third-party firms).
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive business performance.
• Proven experience managing AR/AP, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and banking operations.
• Experience leading audits, compliance processes, and financial system improvements.
• Must have managed a team of qualified accountants and demonstrated team-building and leadership capability.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to interact effectively with department heads, senior leadership, and external partners.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, MS Office, and financial modeling tools.
