Financial Analyst

Our client is a Maritime Transportation company, headquartered in Dubai, with over 10 years of experience in bunker management, commercial vessel operations and post-fixture services such as laytime (demurrage) and claims management. The team has a proven track record of creating bottom-line efficiencies by delivering commercial solutions for a large fleet of bulk carriers and tankers across the globe.

They are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join the team in Dubai. This role involves building and analysing complex business models, performing financial ratio analysis, and assessing liquidity ratios to support strategic financial decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth financial ratio analysis, including liquidity, profitability, and solvency ratios.
• Analyze cash flow and liquidity to ensure optimal capital structure and risk management.
• Provide insights into financial performance and develop actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Stay updated on industry trends and economic factors that impact financial performance.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• CFA certification is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, ratio analysis, and liquidity assessment.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset.
