About The Job

The Quality Supervisor - Fleet is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance for the organization's fleet operations. This role involves monitoring and evaluating all aspects of fleet maintenance, operations, and compliance to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The Quality Supervisor works closely with fleet management, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to implement quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards for fleet operations.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet vehicles and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of fleet operations and maintenance teams.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in fleet operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.

Ensure all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly.

Collect and analyze data related to fleet performance, maintenance, and quality control.

Generate reports on key quality metrics, including vehicle uptime, maintenance costs, and safety incidents.

Provide regular updates to management on fleet quality and performance trends

• Training and Development:
  
  

Develop and deliver training programs for fleet management and maintenance personnel on quality standards and best practices.

Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about quality assurance processes and safety protocols.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the fleet operations team.

• Vendor and Supplier Management:
  
  

Evaluate and monitor the performance of external vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.

Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality parts and services for fleet maintenance.

Address and resolve any quality issues with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably within the fleet or transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
