The Gas Turbine Service Engineer role involves various engineering tasks connected to the operation, maintenance, fixing, and modifications & upgrades (M&U) for Siemens Energy Large Gas Turbines. This position is crafted to deliver timely and detailed engineering support to customers, ensuring high availability and reliability of Siemens Energy units.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Provide timely engineering support for technical queries from internal and external customers, including project managers, sales, and field service, focusing on Siemens Energy heavy-duty gas turbines in RME.
• Act as the primary contact for technical issues in the region, handling tasks related to gas turbine commissioning, fixing, performance tests, balancing, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with a global network of specialists and experts within Siemens Energy to address gas turbines and balance of plant concerns.
• Help in getting ready for and completing maintenance outages as part of multi-functional global teams, including defining scope, spare parts, and tooling requirements.
• Present and discuss technical solutions in both internal and external meetings.
• Provide on-site support at power plants as needed, offering recommendations and advice to ensure smooth outage execution and support the field service organization.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of Siemens Energy Gas Turbine technology.
• Basic knowledge of materials science.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Essential collaboration and networking skills to effectively perform in this role.
