For new product efforts across Binance Global, the Product Compliance team offers regulatory assistance and recommendations. From initial development to product launch, you'll play a crucial part in the new product lifecycle in this position embedding and maintaining the framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Global Head of Product Compliance in developing and embedding a robust and efficient framework to facilitate end-to-end compliance control coverage for business unit product launches, new features, maintenance, and support to implement country product restrictions.
  • Manage all existing policies and procedures relating to the product compliance framework and update accordingly.
  • Work on the improvements to the process and documentation including, but not limited to risk assessment templates, registers and process documentation.
  • Accountable for the overall successful delivery of the framework including risk management, senior stakeholder management and any other key deliverable for the end to end product cycle.
  • Liaise with the Product Teams to ensure updates to the register of upcoming products, changes and new initiatives.
  • Facilitate on-going dialogue and training, particularly where gaps are identified, on regulatory requirements and product knowledge.
  • Maintain the RACI setting out roles and responsibilities between the relevant stakeholders to the framework.
  • Support in monitoring product related risks to the business.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and support the business in assessing impacts and improving controls where necessary.
  • Build strong and effective relationships across the business to promote a positive image of the Product Compliance Team and efficiently support and deliver work activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years financial regulatory industry experience, preferably at a crypto native business, fintech, broker-dealer, investment adviser, asset manager, or bank holding company.
  • Excellent knowledge of the products offered by Binance and the technology behind the products.
  • Commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within the business.
  • Up to date knowledge of recent regulatory developments.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory expectations with regard to product governance and the implementation of appropriate systems and controls across different business profile types.
