Objectives

Contribute to the develop plans for diversifying government revenues and follow up on their implementation in coordination with relevant government departments and authorities, support in developing non-oil revenue development initiatives with government authorities to and ensure compliance with the approved financial laws and rules.


Essential Duties

  • Adhere to the section's policies and procedures covering all areas of work, to achieve compliance with internal controls and to provide high quality and cost-effective services.
  • Support the development of plans for developing government non-tax revenues and their own initiatives to diversify sources of government income.
  • Support in developing and issuing instructions and forms for preparing and implementing the revenue budget for government departments and authorities, including revenue targets, in accordance with the financial policy of the Government of Abu Dhabi.
  • Provide input to non-tax related studies with the aim of developing non-tax revenues for the emirate.
  • Provide necessary support to government departments and authorities to implement initiatives for the development of government non-tax revenues.
  • Contribute to the follow-up of the implementation of plans and initiatives for the development of government non-tax revenues with the concerned government departments and authorities to ensure their implementation as required.
  • Support in conducting research aimed at evaluating economic and social impact of government revenue development initiatives and/or changing government service fees.
  • Identify challenges and risks that may affect the implementation of initiatives for the development of government non-tax revenues and make recommendations to address them.
  • Contribute to organizing and monitoring records of non-tax government revenue collections of all kinds.
  • Assist in preparing reports on revenue development initiatives, pricing of government services, non-tax revenue development initiatives and submit them to management.
  • Provide the necessary support to the direct line manager perform any other related tasks to be assigned.


Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in the field of Finance, Economy or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar field/position.
