What You Will Be Doing: -
Provide risk management, control and operational support to clients of different business segments. Core functions of CRAD are (i) preparation of standard Document Packages (DP) (e.g., Facility Letters, Security Documents) to offer of conventional/Islamic facilities to customers (ii) review of executed documents received from customers to ensure document perfection, adherence to Condition Presidents (CPs) and necessary Terms and to release limit loading institutions (iii) maintenance of customers’ limits, support of facility disbursement through Core Banking Systems, collection of fees (iv) safe keeping of original documents and (v) management and monitoring of collaterals and internal and external reporting
To govern lead and oversee overall activities of (a) Operations unit (b) Collateral management and (c) Document Custody units. The Head of Operations and Collateral Management Services will ensure that all the sub-units above:

- Adhere to Group Legal Frameworks, GCD Policy Process and Guidelines
- Follow standard processes and procedures as documented in CRAD Framework
- Meet agreed Service Standards with Business Units
- Deliver best in class customer experiences for internal and external customers
- Establish robust controls over credit and operational risks based on Group Guidelines
- Support smooth implement of all applicable Group Projects, digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Undertake and implement internal projects for continuous process and efficiency improvement
- Provide on-going support to develop and grow all existing Human Capital
- Collaborate with various key stakeholders, departments, sub-sections across the Bank, including international branches to implement different strategic directives of the Group and resolve problems through applying agile methods
- Maintain satisfactory relationship with key external stakeholders including but not limited to Central Bank, Audit Firms, FinTech etc.to achieve departmental objectives for risk management, compliance and service quality improvements
- Team up with Group Operations & Business Support, Group Information Technology (IT) for addendum of existing and/or implementation of new products, procedures, processes, policies, process efficiency improvement initiatives
- Facilitate New Product and Process Approval (NPPA) and developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Address and resolve critical internal/external Audit observations
- Support Group Head of CRAD in various administrative functions, Budgeting, Capacity Planning and Resourcing, Developing Frameworks and Standard Operation Procedures, Stakeholder Managements, Operational Risk Management, Project Management etc.
- Facilitating digital transformation and fintech collaboration
- Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the unit in line with organization strategies.
- Minimum Post graduation preferably in Commerce/MBA/Banking
- 15-20 years of UAE/International experience in Credit Administration/Credit/Legal/Audit/Risk divisions with specific exposure in handling and managing complex standard & non-standard documentation (Syndication and LMA) and in depth understanding of Corporate Banking Products and underlying Banking Operations with keen knowledge of relevant Central Bank Guidelines, local regulatory requirements and laws.
