Role Summary

This role will work closely with the Business to effectively provide human resources’ related services, support, guidance and advice for a particular division/location.

HRBP will be responsible for undertaking projects relating to the formulation, development and implementation of policies and business strategies to achieve organization’s objectives and business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

What You’ll Do

Strategic HR Support


  • Manages HR delivery in a geographic or equivalent area, delivering HR programmes and plans that support the organisation’s objectives and incorporate the mid to long term business and HR strategic priorities.
  • Acts as primary point of contact of relevant business stakeholders for HR policy issues.
  • Collaborate with the HR different teams to support the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure that business needs are integrated into HR programs and interventions.
  • Provide project based or technical HR support at defined areas, for example supporting the local business with talent management and succession planning or in development and deployment of reward structures.
  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring that employees are aware of and compliant with organizational guidelines.


HR Policy & Compliance


  • Ensures compliance with all internal HR policies and labor laws and regulations of their respective markets when advising on employee-related matters.


Employee Relations & Engagement


  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees in fostering a positive work environment.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including the measurement of employee engagement and the development of improvement action plans.
  • Drives and supports the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions.


Employee Data Management


  • Assist in maintaining employee records, updating HR systems, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.


HR Project Coordination


  • Provide coordination and administrative support for HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with HR objectives.
  • Works across the HR function and business, seeks to ensure interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organizational objectives.


Essential For The Role


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant domain
  • Previous HR Business Partnering experience with solid examples of unlocking the business potential through HR.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality HR support and service.
