As an HSE Engineer at Halcon, you will play a key role in ensuring a hazard-free work environment by implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards across all industrial projects. You will act as a liaison to ensure all projects are designed and executed in line with HSE regulations, internal procedures, and best practices.

- Develop, implement, and promote standard HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization
- Conduct regular audits and inspections; report findings and execute corrective actions
- Design and implement emergency response plans and operational procedures
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies based on severity, likelihood, exposure, and frequency
- Coordinate with TIP to review and approve gate pass applications for hazardous materials
- Manage FANR documentation and import permits for regulated materials
- Collaborate with TIP HSE on incidents or safety-related matters
- Lead investigations into incidents and injuries; determine root causes and propose action plans
- Review and approve HSE deliverables and method statements for ongoing projects
- Support project managers in developing project-specific safety plans
- Monitor and track HSE targets to ensure alignment with project goals
- Deliver or facilitate HSE training sessions for employees
- Implement and manage permit-to-work systems, including confined space and hot work permits
- Develop waste management initiatives and housekeeping standards; report to regulatory authorities
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in HSE management and technical safety engineering
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and standards
- Advanced understanding of risk analysis, hazardous material safety, and waste management
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or defense industry
- Certification in Occupational HSE, Process Safety, or Risk Management
