Job Brief:
We are hiring an HR Coordinator to support HR operations across two educational institutions. This role involves recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement tasks. The candidate will report to the Head of HR and must be familiar with KHDA regulations and HR processes in a school environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communication & Engagement: Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries; coordinate staff engagement activities and professional development initiatives.
- HR Administration: Maintain employee records and databases; assist with performance review processes; ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support the recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate communication; manage onboarding processes, ensuring all safeguarding and legal requirements are met.
- Offboarding: Manage resignations, terminations, and redundancies; prepare full and final settlements in line with region's labor law.
- Performance Management: Maintain KPI records and assist in the performance appraisal process.
- Payroll & Compensation: Collaborate with finance to ensure timely salary disbursements; prepare monthly attendance data.
- Visa & Immigration: Coordinate with the Government Relations team for visa applications, Emirates ID, and medical testing.
- General HR Support: Prepare employment letters, reports, and other HR-related documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of HR experience in the region, within an educational institution (school or training institute).
- Experience working in schools with KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) requirements is a must.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities across two organizations.
- High professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
- Knowledge of HR compliance in educational settings, including OHC, KHDA approvals, and child safeguarding protocols
