Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance:
- Deliver prompt first-level technical support to end-users through diverse communication channels, including face-to-face, email, and phone.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist users with software installations, updates, and configurations.
- System Upkeep:
- Aid in the maintenance and enhancement of hardware components like computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Execute routine system maintenance activities, including software updates, security patches, and system backups.
- Monitor system performance, promptly addressing alerts to ensure the stability and functionality of IT infrastructure.
- Network Administration:
- Support the setup and configuration of network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Uphold network security standards by implementing and enforcing best practices such as firewall configurations and access controls.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and contribute to maintaining a secure and reliable network environment.
- Documentation:
- Maintain precise records of IT assets encompassing hardware and software inventory.
- Develop and revise technical documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Project Assistance:
- Collaborate with senior IT personnel in executing IT projects, including software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and system migrations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved within stipulated timelines.
- User Training:
- Conduct fundamental training sessions for end-users covering software applications and adhering to IT best practices.
- Offer clear guidance to users for resolving common technical issues autonomously.
- Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common software applications.
- Basic understanding of network concepts, protocols, and configurations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support users and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT landscapes.
- Experience in IT support.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
