Infrastructure Analyst

As the Analyst, IT Infrastructure & Operations must define core technology capability required to support company’s departments and strategic objectives. They should also ensure IT service-related issues are dealt with, managing the escalation process and monitoring users’ satisfaction. They must ensure IT infrastructure operations are running at adequate service levels and monitor the engagement of 3rd party contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver necessary infrastructure requirement to deliver company’s core business and support activities.
• Provide help desk support and manage escalation process.
• Infrastructure maintenance.
• Monitor infrastructure and develop improvements.
• Investigate and reduce common IT problems.
• Manage Data Centre.
• Manage IT assets and licenses.
• Provide feedback to relevant departments and system suppliers on potential improvements in the use of the system / network.
• Prepare supporting infrastructure for web development.
• User satisfaction related to use of IT infrastructure and applications services.
• Procure & manage 3rd party contractors, SLA’s.
• Manage portfolio of applications and IT solutions that are required for company’s core business and supporting services.
• Design of requirements in conjunction with other company’s departments.
• Project management of IT related project (procurement, development, design and implementation).
• Management of IT suppliers.
• Aligning projects and strategy.
• Developing IT support policies.
• Providing feedback to relevant departments and system suppliers on potential improvements in the use of the system/network.
• Managing the User Services resource.
• Ensuring that all reported incidents are resolved in accordance with established procedures.
• Providing advice and input to the Enterprise Architecture teams and system suppliers on potential improvements in use of system.
• Managing the monitoring and improvement to current hardware / software.
• Promoting the use of technology across the company.
• Utilizing several creative techniques to help facilitate innovation across the organization.
• Participating in running or developing IT training.
• Manage web server
• Aruba Switching, Aruba Controllers, Access points, Core switch, Admin Networking, Firewalls, NAC. (ARUBA, FORTINET)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology
• 5-6 years of relevant experience of IT servers/ storage experience
• Good Communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Interpersonal skills
