Job Brief:

We are hiring an Inventory Controller for a packaging company in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring efficient coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing inventory operations and be capable of analyzing trends, resolving discrepancies, and preparing detailed reports to support business productivity and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and systems.
• Coordinate logistics related to purchase orders, deliveries, tagging, and materials processing.
• Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
• Perform routine stock checks and report anomalies or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Reconcile stock counts with inventory data and resolve quantity/location mismatches.
• Analyze inventory trends on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to identify productivity patterns.
• File claims for defective items or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with customer service and dispatch teams for stock-related requirements.
• Coach and support other employees in inventory management procedures.
• Ensure daily updates of stock data, including trading materials and produced items, in the ERP/accounting system.
• Maintain updated reports on weekly/monthly inventory metrics.
• Review plant production output and paper consumption records.
• Manage stock levels of production cartons and 2-ply materials.
• Arrange raw materials as per production schedules and quality requirements.
• Receive and record raw materials accurately in the system.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required; further education or certification in Inventory/Logistics is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment; packaging industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong database management and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in ERP or accounting software for daily stock updates.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
