Job Purpose
Responsible for providing support to all users and maintaining the company computer systems, networks, associated software and business applications in accordance to IT Manager instructions to maximize employees use of IT and meet business needs.
Key Accountabilities
1. Troubleshoots software applications within the company, diagnoses software faults and finds appropriate solutions improving problem solving techniques;
2. Maintains and monitors all network installations problems;
3. Maintains and monitors the routers and installed IPs;
4. Provides technical assistance, support, and training to the company employees via E-mail, phone and face to face ensuring effective and timely resolution of technical problems, and keeping employees informed of the status of their use of IT applications;
5. Undertakes the installment and configuration of the computer systems and software, as necessary;
6. Performs creation of new accounts for new employees using company software tools;
7. Documents solutions to problems regarding standard software applications for future reference;
8. Develops own technical knowledge and keeps up-to-date with new technical trends in order to respond knowledgeably to enquiries from employees and clients;
9. Provides training sessions to the company employees via E-mail, phone, presentations, videos, tutorials and face-to-face training sessions to keep employees informed about the status of their use of IT applications and/or equipment;
10. Documents solutions, problems, projects and steps for future reference;
11. Generates and escalates periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery;
12. Respects all of the companys internal rules, policies and procedures;
13. Analyzes and fills all required reports on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly bases;
14. Sets a good example regarding punctuality, hygiene, attendance and attitude;
15. Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as assigned by the direct
