Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and post daily financial transactions accurately (AP/AR/GL)
- Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records
- Assist with VAT preparation and compliance
- Coordinate with auditors and provide supporting documents
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
