Job Description
- This role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks, addressing day-to-day issues that arise within the hotel.
- This includes repairs to various fixtures and fittings.
- Repairing and replacing tiles, flooring, and wall coverings.
- Fixing damaged shelving and furniture.
- Repairing or replacing windows, doors, and locks.
- Performing general painting and plaster repair work.
- Handling basic plumbing repairs and sealant replacements.
- Contributing to the overall upkeep of the hotel by identifying and addressing potential maintenance problems before they escalate.
- A broad understanding of general maintenance practices is crucial. This includes familiarity with various repair techniques.
- Clear communication with guests and other staff members is essential.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance is highly valued.
