Lead Inspection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and coordinate all inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedures, and vendor documentation.
- Conduct inspections at vendor sites and ensure adherence to contractual and technical specifications.
- Supervise and mentor a team of inspection engineers and inspectors.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inspection findings and maintain traceable documentation.
- Liaise with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Resolve technical issues related to inspection and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering in a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in inspection roles within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong experience in vendor and procurement inspection (not quality control).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Office-based role (with occasional vendor site visits)
