Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and scheduling activities for onshore oil and gas projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for FEED and detail engineering phases.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and other project teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve potential scheduling conflicts.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and identify any potential delays, providing solutions and mitigation plans.
  • Report on project progress to senior management, highlighting risks, changes, and any impacts to the project schedule.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planning engineers and support their professional development.
  • Ensure the use of industry-standard project planning tools and methodologies.

Job Description

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong experience in Feed and Detail Engineering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in project controls, particularly in the context of large-scale engineering and construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results on time.
