Leasing Executive – Commercial Mall

The Role
We are partnering with a leading UAE shopping mall to appoint an experienced Leasing Executive with demonstrable exposure to commercial mall leasing and revenue-generating leasing activities. This role sits at the commercial heart of the mall and will suit a candidate who has been actively involved in leasing retail units, sourcing and evaluating brands, and supporting occupancy and income growth within a mall environment. Working closely with the Leasing Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in identifying, sourcing, and assessing potential tenants, conducting brand and market research, and supporting tenant mix strategy to enhance footfall and commercial performance. You will be involved in lead generation through brokers, networking, events, and direct outreach, maintaining a live pipeline of prospects while evaluating brand suitability against the mall’s leasing matrix and commercial objectives. The role requires regular engagement with retailers, agents, and brands, including conducting shop and mall tours, presenting leasing opportunities, analysing adjacencies, and supporting negotiations of commercial terms. You will contribute to occupancy performance by assisting with new lettings, renewals, and strategic replacements, while tracking conversion ratios, footfall insights, and sales data to support informed leasing decisions.

Requirements
While there is an administrative component, this position is not a purely documentation-focused role. Lease preparation, Ejari compliance, and coordination of handovers will be undertaken in support of commercial outcomes, working alongside existing leasing support staff. You will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure new tenants are successfully onboarded and positioned for trading success. Candidates must have previous experience in commercial retail leasing, ideally within a shopping mall or large retail destination, with clear exposure to shop leasing rather than office or business centre environments. A commercially minded, proactive approach is essential, along with confidence in stakeholder engagement and revenue-focused leasing activity. Arabic language skills are preferred but not essential. This is a strong opportunity for a leasing professional who is ready to operate beyond administration and play a visible role in driving leasing performance within a high-profile retail asset.
