Principal Directors are seen as Thought Leaders specialized in the industry / sub-industry / practice they lead. They typically manage large programs with clients. They are normally seasoned industry experts, and are expected to lead innovative and pathbreaking engagements in the industry.
They manage / lead multiple medium to large projects or programs within a client environment. They are accountable for delivering projects and meeting client and Accenture objectives. They typically interface with C-suite stakeholders at the clients. While they don’t formally carry business development targets, they are expected to contribute to the development of $3M - $5M new business in a year – either with a dedicated client account, or in a specific area of focus (eg: Public Safety).
