Manufacturing Manager - PCBA Engineer

We are seeking a Manufactoring Eng - Manager PCBA to coordinate and optimize all PCBA Manufacturing Engineering, including, testing, maintenance, process engineering and process compliance. Ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement within SMT lines and electronic assembly. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineering Manager PCBA will be responsible for implementing new production lines in the new campus, hiring and training operators as part of the new Dubai campus project.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and lead the end-to-end engineering development and industrialization of PCBA processes for complex electronic assemblies, integrating both electrical performance and mechanical robustness requirements.
• Lead the collaboration with R&D and design teams across electrical, mechanical, and systems domains to influence PCB layout, stack-up, material selection, and component placement for manufacturability and testability.
• Define and implement test strategies, including functional test, and end-of-line validation, ensuring coverage for safety-critical and high-complexity systems.
• Engineer and deploy custom fixtures, tooling, and automation systems for assembly and test, tailored to product-specific geometries, tolerances, and handling constraints.
• Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving to drive improvements in product and process robustness during ramp-up and mass production.
• Drive engineering strategy for SMT lines, including programming, process validation, and qualification of key equipment such as placement machines, reflow ovens, AOI, and ICT/test systems.
• Actively supports environmental, health, and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations, with a strong focus on quality and environmental aspects (EQS, MESH) and Quality Management according to ISO9000 and ISO14000 series.
• Acts as a leader for improvement projects, participating as a core team member in extended PROLaunch teams. Provides support and guidance to project teams regarding customer concerns, potential scope changes, and risk assessment.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years' of professional experience with minimum 3-5 years' in a managerial position
  
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience with SMT, PCBA production, and electronic assembly processes.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt would be a plus).
• Experience in managing high-mix, low-to-mid volume production environments.
• Highly skilled in technical problem-solving, project engineering, and cross-functional technical leadership.
• Proven experience in setting up new production lines (Greenfield projects) and workforce expansion.
• Strong Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills
• This role requires strong influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively at senior level
