About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Marketing Department in Dubai, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible to assist with the coordination and liaising of marketing/ad campaigns and to ensure these are executed according to plan. Another important responsibility is to assist with market research to enable the Marketing Communications team to make informed decisions. Marketing Coordinator reports to Marketing Manager.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assists in implementing marketing campaigns, managing media plans, supporting promotions, and providing creative input for communication strategies.
• Handles purchase orders, payments, departmental reports, and ensures adherence to SOPs and timely responses to stakeholders and guests.
• Maintains hotel media assets (photos, videos, design files) and manages inventory of marketing materials like media kits and gifts.
• Coordinates with external agencies, supports photo/video shoots, and responds to trade, media, and guest inquiries professionally.
• Conducts desk research on competitors and market events; contributes insights to support quarterly goals and brand positioning.
• Demonstrates high standards in grooming, communication, organization, urgency, integrity, and teamwork.
  
  

As a Marketing Coordinator, We Expect From You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in luxury hospitality, retail, marketing, or agency work; Middle East experience is a plus.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is highly valued.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Excellent follow-up skills and ability to complete tasks as planned.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
