  • E-commerce Inventory Management & Product Availability:
  • Oversee online inventory levels, ensuring product availability on the website and app aligns with demand forecasts and promotional activities.
  • Monitor stock status across digital channels, working closely with the warehouse team to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure products are always ready for sale.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to restock popular items and plan replenishments for online best-sellers, avoiding out-of-stock situations and missed revenue.
  • Develop demand forecasts specific to online channels, using historical data, seasonal trends, and web analytics to support inventory planning.
  • Analyze e-commerce sales performance by category, product type, and region to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and refine digital merchandising strategies.
  • Work with digital marketing and site merchandising teams to leverage these insights, maximizing conversion rates and aligning product availability with customer demand.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports that provide insights into e-commerce sales, stock status, sell-through rates, and margin performance.
  • Prepare data-driven recommendations to optimize online inventory, monitor product lifecycles, and maximize profitability across digital channels.
  • Maintain data accuracy for all digital inventory and sales reports, providing senior management with actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Support site merchandising by ensuring new arrivals, best-sellers, and seasonal trends are appropriately highlighted on the website and app.
  • Optimize digital product display by regularly updating product descriptions, categories, and promotions to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Track product lifecycle from launch to end-of-season clearance, implementing online clearance strategies for slow-moving items and maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to align inventory with key e-commerce promotional events, such as Black Friday, Ramadan, and other seasonal sales.
  • Prepare for peak shopping periods by securing sufficient stock levels and coordinating restocks to avoid stock-outs during promotional events.
  • Implement strategic planning to clear excess inventory after peak seasons, maximizing profitability and reducing stock holding costs.
  • Collaborate closely with e-commerce marketing, digital product, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless integration between stock availability and promotional activities.
  • Work with the content team to ensure that accurate stock information is reflected in product listings, promotional banners, and email campaigns.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that online product launches and promotions are well-supported by inventory.
  • Online Stock Availability & Accuracy:
  • Achieve 98% inventory accuracy across e-commerce channels.
  • Maintain 95% availability for top-performing items, minimizing out-of-stock occurrences.
  • Sales & Forecast Accuracy for E-commerce:
  • Forecast accuracy within 10% of actual online sales.
  • Contribute to increased conversion rates through optimized online product availability.
  • Inventory Turnover & Clearance Rates:
  • Maintain optimal inventory turnover for online-exclusive items.
  • Achieve 50%+ sell-through rate for seasonal items, minimizing aged inventory in e-commerce channels.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Deliver accurate, actionable e-commerce MIS reports on time, with minimal errors.
  • Generate weekly insights into online performance for top categories and products.
  • Digital Merchandising Impact:
  • Track improvement in online conversion rate linked to optimized merchandising and product display.
  • Support 100% readiness for promotional events with coordinated stock and marketing strategies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in e-commerce merchandising, inventory planning, or digital operations, preferably within fashion or retail.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and ERP systems for online inventory management (e.g., Shopify, Magento, SAP).
    • Strong analytical skills, with experience in digital demand forecasting and online sales analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills, able to work cross-functionally with digital teams.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving e-commerce inventory issues.
    • Attention to detail and a keen eye for e-commerce merchandising best practices.
