Motion Graphic Designer

Role Overview

The Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality animated visuals, titles, infographics, lower thirds, and visual enhancements for the channel's video content - especially long-format documentaries and social media segments. The designer will also utilize AI tools to accelerate workflows, generate visual assets, enhance design quality, and support creative experimentation. This role requires strong animation skills, visual storytelling, and a keen eye for design consistency. 2. AI Tools & Innovation 3. • Design & Animation
• Create custom motion graphics and animations including:
• Titles and intros / outros
• Lower thirds, name straps, and identifiers
• Infographics, maps, timelines, and data-driven visuals
• Animated transitions and visual effects
• Maintain high design quality and storytelling value in every animation.
• Use AI-powered design tools (e.g., Runway, Adobe Firefly, Sora, Midjourney, etc.) to:
• Generate visual references, style frames, or assets
• Automate repetitive design tasks and enhance efficiency
• Experiment with AI-generated animation and motion styles when applicable
• Stay updated on emerging AI design technologies and integrate relevant ones into production workflow.
• Work closely with editors to time animations perfectly within the video timeline.
• Collaborate with content creators and producers to determine the best visual execution of complex ideas.
• Prepare clean, organized project files for easy editing and updates.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Animation, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer, Animator, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion design, animation, and video editing work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, or similar 3D software.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with video editing, sound design basics, and visual effects (VFX).
• Knowledge of 2D / 3D animation, compositing, and rendering techniques.
• Familiarity with social media content formats, digital ads, and broadcast standards.
• Creativity and a strong eye for design and detail.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into engaging visuals.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with content creators, marketers, and developers.
• Proactive and adaptable to feedback in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in UI / UX animation or interactive media.
• Knowledge of AR / VR, 3D modeling, or emerging digital design technologies.
• Basic knowledge of coding or motion scripting (e.g., Adobe ExtendScript, JavaScript for AE).
