Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Finance/Procurement Support Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) finance and procurement modules, providing functional support and enhancing system functionality. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that Oracle EBS solutions meet their needs and facilitate efficient business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Finance and Procurement modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, and Inventory.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements.
  • Perform system configurations, customizations, and testing of Oracle EBS modules as per business requirements.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and develop training materials to ensure effective usage of Oracle EBS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders regarding resolutions and updates.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user manuals.
  • Work with technical teams to coordinate and oversee system upgrades and patch management.
  • Participate in project planning and implementation of new modules or functionalities within Oracle EBS.
  • Stay up-to-date with Oracle EBS updates and best practices to recommend improvements to current processes.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with a focus on Oracle EBS Finance and Procurement modules.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, procurement operations, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EBS applications, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for end-users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle EBS certification (e.g., Oracle EBS R12 Financials).
  • Experience with Oracle EBS integrations with other systems (e.g., third-party applications).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud applications and migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports).
