We are currently seeking a Pizza chef for our Grandiose Supermarket in Dubai

Grandiose is a home-grown Retail chain giving its customers a different experience for shopping and dining in the UAE. The fast-growing premium grocery retailer is looking for a dynamic Pizza chef for our fast-growing team in Dubai

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist with their orders.
    • Provide information about pizza and Manakish varieties, daily specials, and customization options.
    • Take customer orders accurately and ensure timely preparation.
    • Address customer inquiries, preferences, and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  • Food Preparation & Cooking:
    • Prepare fresh pizzas and manakish according to established recipes and customer specifications.
    • Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas and manakish are cooked to perfection.
    • Maintain a clean and organized cooking area, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
    • Handle food ingredients properly, ensuring the freshness and quality of toppings, sauces, and dough.
  • Sales & Promotions:
    • Promote special pizza and manakish deals or offers to customers.
    • Upsell additional items such as beverages, salads, or desserts.
    • Display pizzas and manakish attractively in the counter to increase customer interest.
  • Stock Management & Inventory:
    • Monitor ingredient levels and ensure adequate stock of dough, sauces, cheese, and toppings.
    • Coordinate with the Bakery Supervisor to restock ingredients as necessary.
    • Maintain proper inventory records and ensure minimal wastage.
    • Rotate stock to ensure the freshness of ingredients and adherence to expiry dates.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies to ensure safe food handling and preparation.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza and manakish preparation and cooking areas.
    • Use equipment properly and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Your Qualifications

  • 2 -3 years of experience in similar field of Making Pizza & mankish

COMPETENCIES

  • Able to identify a good coffee beans
  • Good knowledge in Identifying and calibrating a good coffee machine
  • Ability to create and manage recipes
  • Ability to train another barista
  • Cost control (7 grams per coffee)
  • Quality control
  • Hygienic and organized
