Presales Engineer

FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, parking systems and access control, counting on 53 sales companies in 29 countries, across 5 continents, more than 3.700 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants is looking for a Presales Engineer that will be part of our company based in Dubai.

The selected candidate will work on presales assistance and customer relationship.

The main purpose will be to design, prepare and send commercial proposals, take care of the procurement evaluation and coordinate with the rest of sales team.

Responsabilities

• Responsible for presales activities planning and execution, towards achieving sales budget.
• Receive and revise incoming Requests for Proposals (RFP’s). Evaluate and advise to the customer. Provide different alternatives, if required.
• Drawing revision and understanding in order to obtain a solid BOQ.
• Compliance statements.
• Bid and tender submittals.
• Engineer and coordinate with teammates on company estimating methods and preparation directions. Use and improve the existing tools as per the agreed terms, as well as suggest new ones if required.
• Support technically in review of design packages and drawings for any size of projects, including tenders.
• Request and evaluate proposals for subcontractors or suppliers for activities or material form 3rd parties which will be included in Hub Parking proposals.
• Evaluate revenue and costs for margin sheets of confirmed sales.
• Manage and report product /service mix, pricing and margins according to the agreed terms.
• Monitor and report on market news, competitor activities and partner’s performance.
• Collaborate with other FAAC business units in order to achieve the common goals.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years in a technical presales, solutions engineering, or similar role
• Experience working with system integrator's companies is highly desirable
• Experience with technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC) development, and solution architecture.
• Fluent in English (Arabic and/or French will be considered a plus)
