InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Maintain accurate filing of purchase orders and supporting documents as per policy.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and track any discrepancies in pricing or delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, performance tracking, and resolving issues raised by departments.
• Update Vendor Performance Reports regularly and organize review meetings with key suppliers.
• Share market trends and pricing updates with department heads to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, including obtaining required quotations and approvals.
• Conduct regular market surveys and support cost-saving initiatives for assigned categories.
• Handle petty cash transactions as per policy and complete related documentation.
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks including tracking, filing, and interdepartmental coordination.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers and import regulations is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
